I loved the fact that PVH treated you as a everyday associate and trusted you to complete task, give your opinion, and even make important decisions. There were many networking opportunities, especially through our Intern Group Project, where we ended up presenting our pitch to the President of Speedo and other SVP’s of the company. The president even liked our idea so much that he brought our deck to the marketing team in California!

Never be afraid to give your opinion! A lot of times the customer that the companies are trying to target is your age. They want your insight.

The ability I had to use my Spanish speaking skills to communicate to customers was one of the most exciting parts of my job.Apart from that, I also loved helping customers by creating outfit ideas or options for them to try on our store products.

I wished that the managing system created a more organized way at establishing closing shifts for everyone and not just repeating persons.

Retail can be a tough line of work because of the complaints and hard customers but it can be a great learning experience to help one come out of their shell.I am grateful to this day for the opportunity I had to develop customer service skills.
