The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is a private, freestanding institution. MCW has been in existence for over 120 years and is the eight largest private employer in Metro Milwaukee. MCW has approximately 1,615 full-time and part-time faculty and approximately 3,390 full-time, 200 part-time, and 200 project and limited-term employees. More than 1,600 physicians from the community serve as volunteer faculty.
