I liked that the job involved working towards a big goal of college for underprivileged communities, but in very different ways that were all related.
What I wish was different
Like most internships, there should not be an attitude of being a personal assistant. Instead, an intern should be given legitimate projects. This was only sometimes the case.
Advice
It is what you make of the internship, and making sure you complete projects that matter to you by self-advocacy.

What I liked
Good flexibility and great environment for people who want to make a change in the world. Education is the first step and being on the back end of marketing a charter school helped me understand how important public education is.
What I wish was different
I wish there would’ve been more talk about a long term offer upon graduation.
Advice
Just because its a summer internship doesn’t mean they wont keep you year round. Make a good impression and your sure to leave your mark for future employment.
