Velatropa24Ventures CO (V24V) is a for-profit arts organization with a mission to financially support compounding, synchronized sets of 24 artists. Our services and offerings include investor plans, financial instruments, workshop hosting, co-branded courses and more. We deliver gamification tools for funding, marketing and managing art projects designed and developed by member-owned businesses. Members in the V24V network are investors, business-founders and artists, known as TropaNeurs.

 

Contract: 4-moon contract (with potential for an extension) 

Location: Remote

Role Description:

V24V is looking for a Chief Vigesimal Artist. The ideal candidate has a joy for building community, a passion for working with children and a gift for writing, drawing, doodling and heart-centered leadership. Through applying the principles, tools and methods of the 10 types of Vigesimal Art, this person co-leads V24V’s newest initiative, the Little TropaNeurs Arts Program, a four-year initiative empowering children aged 2 to 12, paired with Art Tutors, aged 13 to 28 and Elder Artists, aged 52 and older, to be change-makers and co-creators of a new society, both in virtual spaces and physical places.      


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with V24V’s Chief Creative Directress to host bi-weekly virtual Vigesimal Art workshops, outlining themes and promoting the event to friends and family.
  2. Be a mentor for a child enrolled in the Little TropaNeurs Program. Host and facilitate virtual weekly art tutoring sessions with the child, his or her parent(s) and the assigned Elder Artist.
  3. Work with Kin in a TropaNeur Tribe to complete group projects and contribute to V24V’s organizational decision-making process. 

 

Required Education & Work Experience:

  1. High school diploma 
  2. Art major, Childhood Education major, Teaching major or other related, creative field 
  3. Preferred Education: basic writing skills, drawing skills, knowledge of the 13 Moon/28-Day Calendar
     

Signing Bonus: $144

Project-Based Pay: $77 base + (max of 5 approved and completed projects per moon) 

Estimated Monthly Pay Range: $197-$1,020 USD

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
