Summer Illustrator Opportunity

Are you comfortable using Adobe Illustrator and enjoy working with detail and precision? We’re looking for summer helpers to support our team with technical artwork tasks. This role is perfect for someone early in their career or a student with a strong interest in design software, layout work, and following exact instructions. No formal design experience is required — just strong Illustrator skills and attention to detail.

Charlotte, NC or Romeoville, IL

Summer 2025 (Approx. 8–12 weeks)

Full-time

What You'll Do:

• Create layout files in Adobe Illustrator using step-and-repeat methods
• Help apply things like traps and bleeds to make sure files are print-ready
• Use a plugin called CadTools to add accurate measurements to artwork
• Make sure logos, text, and shapes are placed correctly and grouped properly
• Follow product descriptions (like tags or labels) and turn them into Illustrator templates
• Build artwork with precise dimensions, based on clear instructions
• Organize files neatly so they’re easy for others to use and review

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency
• Background or coursework in CAD or technical drawing
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other vector-based tools
• Experience with vector art and design workflows
