Project Architect or Interior Designer
We are seeking a full-time Project Architect or interior designer to join our fast-paced industrious team.
Our projects cover a broad range of building types, from high-end single family residential interiors to multi-family developments, office spaces and healthcare facilities in New York City and surrounding areas.
Candidates must be self-motivated, have a passion for design and a great design aesthetic, aptitude for documenting all phases of multiple projects, interpersonal communication, technical skills, and the ability to complete projects with short timelines. We are looking for dedicated, entrepreneurial, fast-paced individuals who can bring their unique craft to our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Produce technical and construction documentation (plans, elevations, sections, architectural/millwork details) that illustrate the design intent and use of materials for a range of residential and commercial projects
- Develop interior design packages and concept/mood strategies; and successfully implement them from concept phase through project execution
- Identify, select, and specify Architectural products and vendors. Have a working knowledge of Architectural Materials and Vendors
- Work closely with internal design team to manage FF&E (lead times, budgets, quantities, and finishes)
- Work with consultants, contractors, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 2-5 years of experience in an architecture or interior design practice
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently on several projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Autocad, photoshop and Microsoft Excel
- Organizational skills
- experience producing construction documents, detailing and millwork

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000per year
