Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Video Editor to create video content for our clients. You’ll work closely with our creative team, Executive Producers and lead editor to edit raw footage into polished deliverables, and promotional materials.

This position is perfect for a recent graduate looking for professional experience up to a seasoned professional looking to expand their skillset.

This is an in-office position with flexible hours, perfect for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with schedule flexibility. This position requires organization, efficiency, and technical skill. Below find what we’re looking for.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into high-quality content.
  • Incorporate graphics, transitions, sound to enhance video.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos align with client branding and project goals.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring proper formatting and quality.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide input on creative concepts and storyboarding when needed.
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Proficiency in graphic design and the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Experience with HTML and web design, with the ability to integrate video content into web platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
  • Familiarity with trends in video content and digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
