About the Role

As a Creative Intern in the brand experience design industry, you’ll gain hands-on experience bringing ideas to life through immersive storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and collaborative teamwork. Working alongside senior creatives, technology & production professionals, you will support real-world projects from concept through execution—developing your design skills, creative thinking, and technical understanding. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile brand experiences, strengthen your portfolio, and build meaningful connections in the creative industry. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the full creative process and a clearer vision of your career path in experiential design.

 

What You'll Do

Creative Development & Support

  • Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leads on concept ideation and visual storytelling
  • Support the creation of decks, mockups, renderings, and moodboards
  • Assist with 2D and 3D design asset development using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, or Unreal Engine.
     

Project Work

  • Support execution of design deliverables & assist with preparation for project activation
  • Attend project meetings and assist with timelines, documentation, and deliverables
  • Join internal creative reviews, contributing to project discussion & collaboration on concept, visual, and narrative refinement
     

Research & Innovation

  • Research materials, technologies, and design trends in experiential and creative tech spaces
  • Experiment with tools like Unreal Engine, Midjourney, and other visualization platforms
     

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recent graduate of a design-related program (experiential, architecture, industrial, graphic, spatial, etc.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Rhino, Unreal Engine, Blender, or Maya is a plus
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator with the ability to articulate creative ideas
  • Demonstrates care and thoroughness in visual execution & verbal/written communication
  • Interest in creative design, storytelling, technology & live production
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment

Position Details

  • Reports To: Associate Creative Director
  • Job Status: Full Time (32 - 40 hours weekly)
  • Hourly Rate: $20.00 Hourly
  • Location: Office in East Los Angeles, CA
  • Duration: 9-12 weeks (June 4th to August 29th)
  • Onsite Requirements: Work is hybrid 
    • Monday through Friday
    • 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (32 to 40 hours weekly)
    • In office Days - Tuesday & Thursday weekly
