Summer Media Volunteer in India
We’re looking for a skilled photographer or videographer to join us for a special storytelling project at Shanti Bhavan for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Shanti Bhavan is a unique boarding school featured in the Netflix documentary Daughters of Destiny. We provide education to children from families earning less than $2 per day, empowering them to break the generational cycle of poverty.
This unique opportunity will allow you to become part of our community, capturing real, impactful moments through your lens. Your photos and videos will capture and share stories of resilience, hope, and lasting change happening on our campus every day.
About the Opportunity:
- Spend at least two weeks between June 20 – July 8, 2025, documenting genuine, powerful moments of student growth and community life.
- Your visuals will be essential for our biggest annual fundraising campaign, helping us share impactful stories with supporters around the world.
Who Should Apply:
- Professionals or advanced students (juniors or seniors) in photography or videography.
- Individuals passionate about impactful storytelling, education, and social justice.
- Individuals excited about engaging in a vibrant, cross-cultural setting.

Logistics:
