Our vision is to develop youth on and off the stage.

Maroon 9 is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to start immediately and manage and grow our digital presence across Instagram and Facebook. In this role, you’ll be the face of our brand online—creating engaging content, designing visuals, and building community through consistent posts, captivating Reels, and creative strategy. If you have an eye for trends, a passion for storytelling, and a strong understanding of social media platforms, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute weekly content calendars for Facebook and Instagram
  • Film, edit, and publish reels aligned with the Maroon 9 brand
  • Write engaging captions, choose hashtags, and manage post scheduling
  • Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements based on analytics
  • Represent Maroon 9's voice and aesthetic consistently across all posts
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm campaign ideas and seasonal pushes
  • Respond to messages, comments, and engage with followers when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook best practices
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content (especially reels)
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and time-management skills
  • Previous experience running a social media page (personal or professional) is a plus

Bonus if you:

  • Have experience with brand voice or building aesthetic feeds
  • Are familiar with trending audios, memes, or influencer marketing
  • Can bring ideas that boost engagement or reach

To Apply:
Submit your resume, cover letter, and a brief portfolio or examples of social media content you’ve created (Reels, posts, campaigns, etc.).

We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those from historically underrepresented communities in the arts.
