Fabric Research and Development Assistant

Looking for an enthusiastic, sharp, organized and anticipatory candidate to help support FABRIC for Ramy Brook (contemporary womenswear brand celebrating strong, sexy, confident women). 

The PAID role will:

Support Senior Fabric R&D with all tasks

Prep for creative kickoffs, fabric presentations

Communicate with mills and factories daily

Own creating fabric headers, maintaining fabric binders, fabric board upkeep, allocation chart and information (FDS) for each chosen fabric each season

Track all proto and sms fabrics, ensuring they reach factory destinations safely – creating tracking charts

Support color palette creation and lab dip initiatives/requests

Log all PO's and invoices in tracker system

Work in RLM to add fabric groups and colors – photoshop/indesign required

Attend fabric shows and appointments to source newness for Ramy Brook

Work in close tandem with senior fabric R&D to ensure all things fabric are underway, organized and addressed! And that Ramy Brook showcases beautiful and successful fabrications!

Need 25-35 hours/week and looking for an ongoing partner, someone to stay and grow within the role/company

Majority of days in office with occasional days work-from-home
