Position Overview:
As a Design Intern at House of Gilles, you will gain hands-on experience within a boutique couture atelier,
immersing yourself in the art of luxury fashion. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with our creative
team, contributing to all stages of the design and sampling process. You will be actively involved in
creating collections that embody the House of Gilles' commitment to craftsmanship and elegance.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist with running errands for supplies and fabrics to support the atelier.
● Enter data into Excel to track expenses and document the creative process.
● Support the cutting of fabrics and collaborate with pattern makers and sewers.
● Assist the design team with organizing swatches, ordering materials, and conducting research.
● Help prepare and organize materials for fittings and presentations.
● Maintain the design studio by keeping tools and materials organized and accessible.
● Collaborate on special projects and seasonal collections.
● Provide administrative support to the design team as needed.
● Work closely with the Creative Director on company errands and tasks.

Qualifications:
● Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program.
● knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and excel

● a keen eye for detail.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
● Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
● Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
