Junior Field Videographer & Content Editor

Help us reinvent heavy‑equipment media, one wrench‑turning story at a time.

Who we are — and why this matters

Fortis HD is the fastest-growing e-commerce hub for heavy equipment parts and tools in North America, serving mechanics and fleet owners who can’t afford downtime.

Tekamo HD is the media & maintenance engine behind that success—our YouTube channel, field‑service network, and 1,000-strong mechanic community fuel the content and expertise that drive sales.

Together, we’ve built a 150k+ follower social ecosystem and a rapidly scaling revenue stream—all from a sector most people still think is “old‑school.”

Now we want our first U.S. content hire to help us level up the story from the heart of Texas.

Why you’ll love this role

  • Purpose with horsepower – Your footage keeps bulldozers moving, jobs on schedule, and mechanics in business.

  • Create at the edge –  You’ll ride shotgun with field techs, capture real‑world repairs at sunrise, and publish to an audience that already cares.

  • Total ownership – As the lone boots‑on‑the‑ground creator, you’ll shape everything from shot lists to thumbnail strategy; no “corporate committee” bottlenecks.

  • Gear & growth – Bring your own kit or help us spec a new rig. We invest in tools and pay for the training you want.

  • See the country – Drive to remote job sites around Texas (and occasionally nationwide) with travel paid.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, shoot and edit short‑form, long‑form and vertical video featuring heavy‑duty mechanics in the field.

  • Capture B‑roll, drone, photo and social‑first assets that convert followers to customers.

  • Coordinate shoot logistics, including call sheets, location releases, and safety, with our Canadian producers.

  • Turn raw wrenching into snackable clips, memes and YouTube chapters—fast.

  • Own post‑production workflow: color, sound, motion graphics, thumbnails, metadata.

  • Report weekly on content performance and pitch new formats that drive engagement and sales.

  • Maintain and transport gear; drive up to 300 miles for a shoot. Call time can be as early as 5 a.m.

What makes you a fit

  • Recent grad or final‑year student in Film/Media, Communications, Digital Marketing—or self‑taught with a killer reel.

  • Confident shooting run‑and‑gun in harsh light & dirty environments (diesel, dirt, decibels).

  • Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve ninja; bonus for After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom.

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a passport ready to travel.

  • You think ISO, shutter, and aperture before you hit record—and you can still tell a story.

  • Comfortable interacting with blue‑collar pros; you respect their craft and speak their language.

  • Bonus points: drone pilot certificate, mechanical curiosity, and on-camera hosting skills.

What you get

  • Competitive salary + paid mileage + per‑diem on travel days.

  • Annual gear budget.

  • Flexible schedule when you’re not on a shoot.

  • Health‑benefit stipend after 90 days.

  • Front‑row seat in a venture‑backed, industry‑disrupting company that promotes from within.

How to apply

  1. Send a quick intro (200 words max) and a one‑minute vertical reel that shows you can capture action and personality.
  2. Include links to any YouTube, TikTok or IG work you’ve shot/edited.
  3. Subject line: “I Shoot Iron – [Your Name]” and email contact@tekamousa.com by May 5th, 2025.

We’re hiring one person. Make it impossible for us to ignore you.
