Founded in 2024, Pollinative is a new kind of landscaping company that demystifies and removes barriers to going native. We challenge the culturally accepted well-maintained yard. By improving our balance with nature, we are improving the communities in which we operate, saving the environment, and saving our customers money.
Our vision is to simplify and promote the concept of "going native”, making it easy, accessible, and affordable for everyone. We share entomologist and ecologist Doug Tallamy's vision for the American yard, and we aspire to contribute to the cause of at-home national parks and more.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute client projects including invasive removals, plantings, and general garden maintenance
- Collect site data and detailed observations to inform client reporting
- Support the completion of client deliverables
- Educate potential clients and existing clients on the importance and benefits of living in balance with nature and Pollinative’s work
What You Bring:
- Have or pursuing a landscaping, environmental, horticulture degree (or related field)
- An active or budding interest in “going native”
- Passion for improving local communities
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the field
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, dependable, hard-working, & honest
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Excited to work outdoors during the summer months

- Flexible hours: 5-20 per week
