Gameshow Host & Summer Camp Performer
LIVE EVENT PERFORMER AND FACILITATOR
Do you love working with kids? Are you a skilled performer? SO Fun City (https://www.sofuncity.com/) is seeking a passionate and dynamic performer to join our team for our SO Fun Summer Tour 2025.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating our roster of programs, which include the SO Fun Gameshow and small group workshops in magic, messy experiments and more!
Requirements:
- Experience working with kids
- Acting or theater experience (Improv Skills a Plus!)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-facilitate events on stage in schools, at summer camps, and at corporations maintaining high energy and a positive environment
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage all types of audiences
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Technologically savvy with ability to operate computer software during a show
- Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet event schedules
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude
- Comfortable lifting and loading in equipment for shows
Dates Looking to Fill (further details below):
- 6/9, 6/13, 6/16, 6/26
- 7/8, 7/9, 7/10, 7/11, 7/17, 7/23, 7/24, 7/25, 7/28, 7/31
- 8/6, 8/18, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22
Rates:
$150 to $180 per event date (travel, load in, and performance)
