The Film Intern(s) will play a key role in supporting the Communications Team by assisting with all aspects of film production. This hands-on internship is designed to provide aspiring filmmakers real-world experience in a Christ-centered environment, offering mentorship and development in cinematography, editing, storytelling, and digital content creation for ministry impact.

Purpose of the Internship:
With an increasing demand for high-quality video content at Transformation Church, this internship offers a dual opportunity:
- Expand our film production capabilities for services, events, and digital outreach.
- Equip the next generation of filmmakers with tools, experience, and spiritual insight for ministry media.
What You’ll Gain:

Responsibilities:
Pre-Production
- Brainstorming and planning creative video concepts
- Storyboarding and visual planning
- Organizing equipment and prepping gear
- Assisting with shoot schedules and logistics
Production
- Operating cameras under supervision
- Setting up lighting and sound equipment
- Acting as production assistant (e.g., slating, props, sound monitoring)
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content
Post-Production
- Editing video footage (cutting, syncing, transitions)
- Adding graphics, captions, and lower-thirds
- Color correction and sound design
- Organizing and archiving project files
- Creating short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Social Media & Digital Content
- Assisting in content creation for event promotions
- Capturing and editing testimony videos
- Producing recap and highlight reels for services and outreach events
Other Tasks
- Attending and participating in team meetings and brainstorms
- Implementing feedback to grow technical and storytelling skills
- Researching trends in ministry media and presenting new ideas
Leadership Opportunities:
Interns may take the lead on select projects including:
- Outreach event recaps (e.g., The Hunger Project)
- Pre-recorded video invites for service hosts
- 1–2 story-driven interview videos
Ideal Candidate:
- Has a passion for storytelling through film and a heart for ministry
- Is eager to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively
- Has basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
- Is comfortable on set and open to growing in leadership
