Electrical Lighting & Low Voltage System Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with RCDD and Electrical Engineers on designing low voltage systems.
• Develop construction documents from engineered drawings.
• Utilize Bluebeam, Plangrid, Revit, and BIM Modeling programs.
• Learn and apply relevant codes such as IBC, IFC, NEC, NFPA 72, TIA 568.
• Contribute creatively to improve team processes.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines while ensuring quality.
• Maintain an open willingness to continuous learning.
• Perform any duties as deemed appropriate by management.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work towards RCDD and/or NICET Fire Alarm Certification.
• AAS or BS in a related field preferred (e.g., construction management, electrical technician, drafting/architecture).
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
