Role Description
Wickard is seeking a high-performing Summer Intern to join our team in-person in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a sharp, motivated college student with exceptional writing skills and an interest in AI, law, policy, or education. The intern will contribute to legal and policy research, assist in preparing high-quality presentations and training materials for lawyers, and help plan and support key events. This is a writing-intensive, hands-on role in a fast-moving, impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on AI policy, regulation, and its intersection with the legal field
Draft internal memos, presentation scripts, speaker briefs, and public-facing content
Assist in creating polished training materials, slide decks, and workshop content
Support event logistics and coordination for in-person and virtual legal education programs
Track project timelines, organize files, and help keep team communications running smoothly
Collaborate directly with leadership on strategic and educational initiatives
Qualifications
Current undergraduate student (any major welcome; humanities, social sciences, pre-law, or communications backgrounds a plus)
Outstanding writing skills — clear, persuasive, and professional
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Demonstrated interest in law, policy, education, or emerging technologies
Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
Experience with Google Docs, PowerPoint/Slides, and basic research tools
Previous writing, editing, or event planning experience is a bonus
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time available. 8–10 week summer internship (May–August 2025).
This is an in-person role based in Nashville, TN. Remote work is not available.
