
Program Coordinator
Overview:
The F.R.4.M.E. Initiative is seeking 5 Program Coordinators to lead our Summer Film Program at Brookdale Elementary in Naperville. Coordinators will play a pivotal role in teaching the curriculum, engaging with students, and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Leadership: Teach the provided film curriculum and guide students through hands-on filmmaking experiences.
Mentorship: Serve as a positive role model while fostering creativity and collaboration among students.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with at least two film interns from local universities, who will assist in managing and facilitating class activities.
Project Oversight: Lead the production of a cinematic short and a branded content piece with students by the end of the program.
Program Details:
Location: Brookdale Elementary, 200 Redfield Rd, Naperville, IL
Duration: June 9th - June 26th (11 days)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM
Class Size: Approximately 25 students (4th and 5th graders)
Curriculum & Equipment: All materials provided
Qualifications:
Film Production Knowledge: General understanding of multiple aspects of film production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
Instruction/Leadership Experience: Prior experience teaching, mentoring, or leading groups of youth is preferred.
Reliable Transportation: Ability to travel to Brookdale Elementary for all program sessions.
Compensation:
Stipend: $700 paid at the conclusion of the program.
