Status: Full Time Non-Exempt

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Summary

As a Production Worker at Secret Creek in Montrose, Colorado, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team dedicated to crafting high-quality fabric structures. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the high standards of craftsmanship and quality that our customers have come to expect.

Responsibilities:

• Sand and stain wood to specification.
• Cut wood and industrial fabrics with precision
• Install various types of hardware.
• Operate industrial fabric welders, heat seamers, and sewing machines.
• Safely maneuver loads exceeding 50 lbs using hand trucks, jib cranes, and carts.
• Utilize hand tools (e.g., mallets, scissors, utility knives, pliers) and industrial equipment effectively.
• Ensure professional and timely product creation and installations to meet customer expectations.
• Follow all safety regulations and consistently use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
• Support departmental and company-wide projects as needed.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic with a reliable attendance record.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Physically capable of sustained manual labor in a production environment.
• Basic math skills for measurement and calculations.
• Positive attitude, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience with manual production work, machinery, or hand tools preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Work Schedule: 40-hour work week, structured over four days, with specific hours determined based on business needs.
