Graduate Assistant for Campus Visits- 12 Months

Summary of Job Duties:
The Graduate Assistant for Campus Visits oversees the Student Ambassador organization. The Student Ambassadors are comprised of a registered student organization of volunteer student leaders who offer tours of the University's campus to prospective students and their families.
The Graduate Assistant will assist the professional staff in recruiting, hiring, and training of Student Ambassadors.
This position works closely with the Tour Coordinator and the ambassador officers, overseeing the ambassadors daily schedules, organizing daily tours, keeping up with absences, and helping plan special events.
This position will also provide presentations to prospective students and families visiting campus.
Night and weekend work is occasionally required. Other duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one semester of experience as a Student Ambassador or Orientation Leader in the Office of Admissions at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville
Must provide proof of acceptance and be enrolled into a UAF graduate program through the Graduate School

Graduate students are subject to background checks.
Salary Information:
$17,508.
