Location: Remote
Compensation: $300/month stipend (approx. 5–7 hours/week)
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend or grow into a paid role)

The Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) is a fast-growing online and in-person community dedicated to empowering women to start, grow, and scale their businesses. We offer expert-led workshops, virtual events, curated resources, and a supportive community space to help women turn ideas into income and build thriving, purpose-driven businesses—together.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is creative, enthusiastic, and excited about entrepreneurship and storytelling. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in digital marketing, contribute to a women-led brand, and make a meaningful impact in a growing community.

This is a low-paid internship, best suited for a student, recent graduate, or self-taught creative looking to build their portfolio and get a foot in the door in community-based entrepreneurship or social media management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Design simple graphics using Canva (templates provided!)
  • Research relevant hashtags, trends, and community engagement ideas
  • Write captions and suggest post ideas aligned with WEN’s voice
  • Help with event promotion and sharing highlights from webinars and book club meetings
  • Track basic metrics and contribute to monthly engagement reports

Who You Are:

  • A creative thinker with a passion for social media, entrepreneurship, or women’s empowerment
  • Strong written communication skills and good eye for design
  • Familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, and Canva
  • Organized, responsive, and able to work independently with light direction
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
