Research and Development Intern

Job OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Research and Product Development Intern to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will support the evaluation of incoming technologies, assist with scientific discussions, contribute to literature searches, and engage in scientific visualization efforts. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the biotechnology field, work with a talented team, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking products.

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Assist in the evaluation of emerging technologies for potential acquisition or partnership, and support the development of existing products. 
  • Aid in the scientific evaluation, discussions, and exploration of new technologies and products, contributing innovative ideas and solutions. 
  • Conduct literature searches on relevant biotechnology, regenerative health, and product development topics to keep the team informed of the latest research and industry trends. 
  • Assist with patent searches as part of the evaluation process, and be trained in this area to enhance comprehensive assessments of new technologies. 
  • Support technical writing tasks, including drafting reports, summaries, and research findings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and coherence. 
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of scientific visualizations, such as graphs, charts, and diagrams, to effectively communicate complex data and findings. 
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to evaluate the feasibility and strategic direction of new technologies and product concepts, and to support the completion of required deliverables. 
  • Assist in identifying areas for product optimization and explore new technological approaches to improve product offerings. 
  • Prepare presentations, technical documents, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, clearly communicating scientific and technical concepts. 
  • Help synthesize scientific literature and external research to inform internal product development strategies and decisions. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest scientific advancements in biotechnology and regenerative health, bringing fresh insights and innovative solutions to the team. 
  • Serve in a supporting role to witness conversations regarding potential partnership opportunities, draft interest emails, gather contact information, and assist with related administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

 

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in biotechnology, product development, and regenerative health solutions.
  • Excellent skills in literature search, technical writing, and data presentation.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest scientific research and trends in biotechnology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
