Salesperson for Luxury Brand

Villa & House is a lifestyle wholesale luxury brand servicing interior designers and retailers across the United States.  Our proprietary furniture, lighting and décor products blend a perfect mixture of design and quality for today’s discerning consumer base.

At Villa & House, clients are our guests, whom we are hosting. Being a wonderful host requires the ability to engage and excite through conversation and storytelling.

Villa & House is searching for wonderful salespeople, in our retail/wholesale showroom, who can sell and service a robust wholesale account base, while retelling our story, "A Modern Take on Classic Luxury."

 Our team members are multi-disciplined. This is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned salesperson with a passion for interior design.

 

Individual Responsibilities:

 

  • Greet and assist all guests who enter the showroom
  • Walk the sales floor with guests, offering concierge-level service throughout their visit
  • Generate quotes and sales orders with both wholesale customers and consumers shopping our showroom.  Ensure all sales quotes and orders are written prior to guest exiting the showroom
  • Stay up to date with sales figures and active/inactive accounts.      Contact customers and prospects via outbound calls, emails and virtual meeting services to generate new business.
  • Prioritize being a "team player", sharing full front and back of house responsibilities with coworkers
  • Fulfill procedures and responsibilities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Visit local retailers and designers 1 day per week
  • Assist Brand Ambassadors with client visits to assist with outside sales efforts
  • Learn and understand brand catalog and product lines to assist with a seamless sales approach with all clientele; ability to make product recommendations based upon availability is key to positive sales experience
  • Understanding of wholesale market and working with designers and clientele
  • Maintain excellent communication across all Villa & House platforms
  • Ensure superior positive interactions, internally and client facing
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the interior design and furniture industry
  • Proactive work ethic with attention to detail and ability to remain accurate throughout sales process.
  • Ad hoc projects agility

 

Villa & House Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years previous client facing luxury brand experience, retail, design, or wholesale preferred
  • Professionalism in approach
  • People and relationship driven
  • Effective and powerful written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with sales goals, setting, maintaining, and exceeding
  • Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
  • Skilled at listening, reading, and comprehending
  • Commitment to continual training to maintain successes
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Acute time management
  • Ability to independently learn and navigate software platforms a must!

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around multiple floor levels, stock room and office
  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
  • Ability to travel locally or out of state
