Position Overview
Tbrain is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst - STEM to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining the quality of our AI projects. As a QA analyst, you will oversee the accuracy and consistency of tasks completed by contributors in your area of expertise.
Review tasks in your subject matter, and evaluate them on a given criteria. The most important parts are related to language: is the writing concise and relevant? Are they using the right vocabulary to describe advanced concepts in their related subjects
We are looking for individuals who are native English speakers and have strong academic backgrounds in the following fields:
- Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Materials Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Physics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Geography
- Medicine
Key Responsibilities
- Review tasks submitted by contributors to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to contributors to improve their performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize quality assurance processes.
- Utilize your subject matter expertise to evaluate content accuracy and relevance.
Requirements
- Native speaker proficiency.
- Major in one of the specified fields above.
- Completed advanced (senior-level or graduate-level) coursework in your field.
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong writing skill.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- You might have relevant experiences as a TA, grader, etc. for courses.
- Able to commit to at least 15 hours per week, and at least 1-2 hours per day on a regular schedule.
