We are hiring a Wastewater Treatment Summer Student for a full-time paid internship located in San Tan, AZ.
In this role, you will follow operations in every aspect of wastewater treatment. You will train on daily process operations, lab work for process control, data entry of wastewater parameters, and monitoring systems to understand alarms.
What you’d be responsible for:
- Participate in daily process operations to understand the workflow
- Conduct lab work for process control and quality assurance
- Enter and manage data related to wastewater parameters
- Monitor systems to understand and respond to alarms
- Demonstrate a high-performance, high-discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative, and achievement-oriented manner of working

What’s required to be successful:
- Currently enrolled in wastewater program or recent graduate
- Basic knowledge of wastewater preferred
- Preferred wastewater treatment or hydraulics
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrates professionalism and reliability in all tasks
- Works collaboratively with team members and mentors
- Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Eager to learn and apply new skills
