Essential Functions
The Graduate Assistant for New Student and Family Programs will have the following primary responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of new student orientation, campus visits, and large-scale recruitment events
- Coordinate the logistics associated with the various NSFP events including but not limited to printing name tags, releasing advising holds, assisting with booking space, creating reports, communicating with campus partners, etc.
- Present admission and orientation information to prospective and incoming students and guests
- Be tour-trained to support the training and reviewing of student Ambassadors
- Provide tours to prospective students and guests, as needed
- Respond to emails and phone calls and navigate UNO systems to support the various NSFP programs
- Support the assessment efforts associated with the various NSFP programs
- Support the New Student and Family Programs staff as needed with special projects

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Admitted into a UNO graduate program

Salary
$19,901.00 per year plus any 2025-2026 increase
