Accessories Product Development & Production Internship (Spring 2025)

Summary: The Accessories PD & Production Intern will support and work directly with the accessories team; assisting in the product life cycle of accessories (handbags, SLG’s, belts) from concept to production. We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who is eager to gain experience in how we transform design into product.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with creation and maintenance of seasonal development + production WIP charts; ensuring all necessary information has been updated.
  • Maintaining and organizing sample archive; keep track of all lending to cross-functional partners.
  • Build seasonal product knowledge charts with measurements and other relevant technical data.
  • Willingness & proactiveness to gain an understanding of FG (finished goods) evolution, from post SMS to production, by reviewing PPS and TOP Samples to ensure improvements have been applied.
  • Support with data entry in PLM system capturing data relevant to the product evolution between development and production phase.
  • Assist with daily shipments/receival of samples, prepare packages to be send to external partners, receive, and open all sampling deliveries in timely manner.
  • Support team in sourcing initiatives with local vendors following concept briefing.

 

­ Position Requirements:

  • Preference to individuals actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Science or Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills who demonstrates punctuality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who is passionate about product and can balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Energetic and adaptable, able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding follow-through skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems, specifically RLM, is a plus.
  • Previous internships in high end fashion product development and/or production preferred.

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is $16.50, which represents a commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
