Mural Arts Philadelphia Summer Internship Program

Mural Arts Philadelphia seeks dedicated individuals for our Summer Internship Program, sponsored by the Independence Foundation. As a participant, interns will have the opportunity to work alongside a professional muralist for a paid internship. This is a great learning experience for any artist and a way to gain solid mural-making experience.

Those who are selected to participate in the internship will have the opportunity to build a mural alongside a professional muralist team. This learning experience is open to artists working towards a journey in public art and social practice as a way to gain solid mural-making and community engagement skills.

• Minimum age requirement: 18
• Applications open: February 3, 2025
• Applications due: April 25th, 2025
• Internship timeframe: July 7th – August 15th 2025
• 25 hours per week
• $16.00 per hour
