Job Description: Junior UX Designer

Location: New York, NY

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in User Experience Design and Design System Development and management, with the ability to identify components, set up guidelines, and manage design systems for a brand or a line of business. This role requires excellent communication skills and a deep passion for design.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage design systems to ensure consistency across all digital products.

· Identify and document UI components and patterns.

· Create and maintain design components and guidelines along with best practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design systems are effectively implemented.

· Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design decisions.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in design from a recognized design school

· 1 to 1.5yrs of Experience in design system development and management.

· Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Passionate about design and user experience.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Proficiency in design tool - Figma, Mural/Miro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

· Understanding and working knowledge of industry standard Design systems like Google Material Design, Apple Design System etc

· Working Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

· Designing for Accessibility (WCAG Guidelines)

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
