We exist to connect, empower, and elevate songwriters, and we’re looking for a creative, driven, and music-obsessed social media marketeer to help us elevate our digital presence, engage our audience, and drive brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support our Brand & Marketing team in executing digital marketing strategies, including events, content calendars, campaign rollouts, and social activations.
- Create engaging content—videos, photos, graphics, and captions—that authentically connects with our audience.
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and actively engage with our community.
- Attend writers' rounds, showcases, and industry events to capture real-time content for social media.
- Assist with digital marketing efforts, including drafting newsletters, updating subscriber lists, and brainstorming creative campaign ideas.
- Track and analyze content performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize engagement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, social trends, and emerging platforms to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with external and internal partners on marketing and brand initiatives.
- Be a creative problem solver—thinking outside the box and finding innovative ways to tell our story.
- Support on onboarding and management of quarterly interns.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in music business, marketing or a related field
- 2-3 years work experience in the music industry, social media and brand marketing or related field
What You Bring:
- A deep love for the music industry, especially songwriting and the creative process.
- You thrive wearing many hats and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong storytelling skills—whether through video, photo, or copywriting.
- Experience with content creation and editing (Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools).
- A self-starting, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude—comfortable working scrappy and figuring things out on the fly.
- An outgoing personality—you’re energized by meeting people, capturing moments, and engaging in the scene.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience running social accounts in the music industry.
- Experience in brand strategy.
- Knowledge of marketing platforms like Later, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or other
- Experience with paid social campaigns and audience targeting.
