Aya is the Instacart for African markets, delivering the snacks, spices, and essentials that connect the diaspora to home. Our brand is bold, playful, and unapologetically African—and now, we’re ready to take over Twitter (X).

We need a Twitter Content Manager who can make Aya a must-follow brand by tapping into African diaspora culture, trending topics, and African diaspora humor in real-time. If you think in memes and know how to make brands feel human online, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

🔥 Tweet Like a Pro – Craft witty, engaging tweets that feel natural, not corporate.

📈 Jump on Trends – Identify viral moments and insert Aya into the conversation in a way that makes sense.

💬 Engage With the Community – Reply, quote-tweet, and interact with African diaspora conversations in a way that builds brand loyalty.

📲 Repurpose TikTok & Instagram Content – Turn our existing content into engaging Twitter posts.

👀 Monitor Competitors & Culture – Stay ahead of trends, memes, and brand moments.

🎯 Drive Waitlist Signups – Make content that turns laughs into loyal customers.

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Fluent in Internet Culture – You live on Twitter and know what makes people engage.

✔️ Understands the African Diaspora – You get the humor, the references, and the culture.

✔️ Sharp & Witty Writer – You can craft a fire tweet in 280 characters or less.

✔️ Fast-Paced & Reactive – You can jump on trends before they die.

✔️ Experience Managing a Brand or Personal Twitter with Engagement – Bonus if you’ve built a following before!
