Marketing Creative Intern

ServiceUp is transforming vehicle repair management for fleets and insurance carriers, and it all starts with our brand. We’re looking for a Marketing Creative Intern to help bring our bold, innovative brand to life through compelling storytelling. As an intern, you will be fully embedded in the creative process, with a focus on learning and growing. You’ll work closely with the head of marketing and the lead visual designer to refine our brand presence and support various design projects, including social media content, video production, and digital campaigns. Key Responsibilities

  • Support our lead visual designer and deliver visually striking designs.
  • Soak up as much knowledge as possible while pushing creative boundaries
  • Complete a summer-long project and present it to senior-level executives.
  • Support marketing efforts by crafting compelling messaging.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance strategies.
  • Incorporate motion design into a variety of projects to include text animation, storyboards, and editing.
  • Seek out new design perspectives and bring ideas to the team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Be solutions-oriented and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
  • Receive coaching and mentorship from the lead visual designer.
  • Receive and apply constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or graduated in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, or similar.
  • Able to commit to  working 20 hours a week
  • Basic understanding of effective creative design practices, trends, techniques, tools, and processes across various touchpoints
  • Readiness to learn and use design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Docs, and Google Slides
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented designer eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Internship Details:

  • This is a part-time internship (20 hours per week) with the possibility for extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
  • Location: This is a hybrid role based at our HQ in Los Gatos, CA.
