Illustration and Animation Intern

We are accepting resumes and cover letters from students of illustration/animation to work on the development of characters and background artwork for a children's book. The imagery could be described as having elements of the magical and fantasy. Our ultimate goal is an animated film based on the book. Familiarity with animation imagery of various styles and eras will be helpful. 

The intern’s responsibilities: 

1. Work under the direction of the author on creating the visual elements of a children’s book. 
2. Convert the imagery to an animated version of the story.  

Skills required: 

1. Proficient in creating imagery and animation with artificial intelligence programs.  
2. A high degree of creativity  
3. The ability to sketch by traditional methods the ideas embodied in the story is helpful but not absolutely necessary.
4. Insight into how story translates into imagery.
