Job Summary:
Join our dynamic summer school team as a Setup Team Member! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth set up and close down of our program by efficiently setting up and packing up our facilities. This physically demanding role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong sense of initiative. You will be responsible for the setup and takedown of storerooms, offices, and front-facing areas, working to a tight deadline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unpack and organise equipment and materials for storerooms, offices, and front-facing areas.
- Arrange furniture, equipment and clothing according to provided plans or instructions.
- Ensure all areas are tidy, and functional for the start of the summer school.
- Work collaboratively with another team member to meet deadlines.
- Use own initiative to problem-solve and ensure efficient setup.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within the given timeframe.
- At the end of the summer school, pack up all equipment and materials, ensuring everything is properly stored and categorised.
- Conduct an accurate stock take of all items at the end of the summer school.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and unpack heavy items.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. 1

Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar setup or logistics role.
Working Conditions:
- This is a physically demanding role requiring lifting and carrying.
- The work will be carried out within a specific timeframe and to a tight deadline.
- Teamwork and collaboration are essential.
Dates & Details:
We’re looking for team members available on the dates listed below. Compensation includes a daily rate, a food stipend, plus covered travel and accommodation, if required.
- Pay: $100 per full day, $50 per half day
- Travel: Up to $150 reimbursed
- Accommodation & Meals: Room and board provided (if required)
Yale Set Up
Tuesday 8th July - Saturday 12th July (8am - 6pm)
Yale Closing
Thursday 31st July - Monday 4th August (8am - 6pm)
