Job Title: Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Wastewater Process Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in developing our new small-scale onsite wastewater treatment equipment. You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage design and prototyping to full-scale design and commissioning. This role requires a combination of in-depth wastewater process engineering knowledge and hands-on practical experience.

In this position, you will gain exposure to all stages of product development, contributing to the success of innovative solutions throughout their lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product development team to design and implement prototypes at lab and pilot scales.
• Support process design and specification development for full-scale, demonstration, and pilot systems at all project stages.
• Perform detailed calculations, conduct tests, and analyze process performance data.
• Ensure safety standards are consistently met and maintained.
• Ensure that design methods, standards, and data align with project requirements and industry regulations.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing operating and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemistry, or a related field.
• Previous experience in wastewater treatment technology development is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience with process commissioning or pilot plant operation in wastewater treatment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with both traditional and emerging wastewater treatment technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of current and future legislation and other regulatory drivers within the wastewater industry is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a strong passion for developing innovative technology and solutions.
