Job description
We are looking to hire a temporary Project Engineer Intern. This will be a full-time paid summer internship program. Participation in the internship program requires the candidate to either be pursuing or have completed an Engineering, Material Science, or Metallurgy degree. This role offers diversity in job duties and an opportunity to learn.
Who we are: Peters' Heat Treating is a privately held, family-owned business located in Meadville, PA.
A Day in the Life: A project engineer at Peters’ Heat Treating will have several job responsibilities in all departments at both facilities. Every day will not look the same, but some of the responsibilities will include but are not limited to working with excel, data analysis, aiding in automating equipment, process improvement projects, heat exchanger sizing, and cross-departmental meetings to discuss new projects, ensuring all teams are aligned.
