Video Content Intern

Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Content Intern to join our team. This part-time role (3-4 days per week) focuses on producing compelling video content for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and podcasts. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, stays updated with current social media trends, and is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Film and edit a minimum of 10 short-form videos per week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring content aligns with current trends and engages our target audience.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing ideas and creative input.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative concepts for upcoming projects.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
  • Long-Form Content Production: Assist in creating high-quality, long-form videos for YouTube and podcasts, capturing key moments during filming to highlight in the final product.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and develop video concepts and strategies that align with our brand's voice and objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and identify emerging trends on social media platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Equipment Management: Utilize company-provided cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment to ensure high production quality. Suggest additional equipment purchases if necessary.
  • Self-Development: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop the ability to plan, shoot, and edit content independently over time.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Some experience in filming and editing video content, particularly for social media platforms. Familiarity with editing software such as CapCut is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong storytelling abilities with an eye for capturing engaging content. Basic understanding of drone footage is a bonus.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, creative thinker with a passion for social media and current trends. Open to feedback and eager to grow in a collaborative setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies related to film production.
  • Knowledge in navigating with social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

 

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
