Social Media Manager

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

FREELANCE/PART-TIME, REMOTE

The Elements Music is looking for a social-savvy, creative, and strategically minded Social Media Manager to join us on a freelance/part-time (flexible hours), remote basis. About You

  • You have strong aesthetics and creative instincts—you know what looks good and feels on-brand.
  • You have a great grasp of copywriting, understanding tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • You’re fluent in social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), staying on top of trends.
  • You’re a self-starter who can work remotely while staying plugged into the team.
  • You love music, culture, and storytelling, and know how to create engaging content around them.
  • You’re keen to bring ideas to the table, helping define and shape our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and engagement across social media platforms.
  • Create visually compelling, well-written content that aligns with our brand.
  • Work with our team to highlight our work, artists, collaborations, and industry impact.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across posts, captions, and interactions.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh.
  • Assist in content planning, brainstorming, and strategy development.
  • Track performance and provide insights on what’s working and what’s not.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (or an exceptional portfolio).
  • Available portfolio and/or social media samples
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp, engaging style.
  • Skilled with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Experience using social scheduling tools (Later, Sprout, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Video editing skills for short-form content (Reels, etc.).
  • Knowledge of music, entertainment, and branding is a huge plus.
