Carol Fox & Associates (CF&A), a Chicago-based public relations and marketing agency that focuses on arts, entertainment and lifestyle clients, is proud to offer a practical, educational and enjoyable internship program. Clients include many of Chicago’s theaters, concert venues, schools, dance companies, fundraising events, special events and visual arts institutions.

 

This CF&A internship provides participants with access to mentoring and career advice from top-tier communication professionals in this dynamic industry. We are looking for college students and recent graduates interested in gaining valuable experience in graphic design during the spring/summer 2025 semester(s). 

 

Internship Qualifications:

The ideal candidate…

  • Is available 2-3 days a week during the spring and/or summer semester(s) 
  • Is currently a college junior, senior or recent graduate
  • Has a relevant academic focus such as graphic design, digital communications, marketing or a related field
  • Is comfortable using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Wordpress
  • Is proactive, organized, detail-oriented and a reliable team player
  • Has outstanding communication and writing skills

Internship Duties 

Specific duties for the Graphic Design Intern include:

  • Assist in development and maintenance of graphic-focused print and digital projects including web design and digital content including use for social media platforms
  • Assist in production of sales & marketing material including flyers, brochures, print and online advertisements
  • Assist in quality control and enforcement of brand/identity style for each client
  • Track and review metrics related to design deliverables
  • Other design duties as needed
