Revamping Therapy Office Spaces

We are seeking a passionate and creative Interior Design student or recent graduate to assist in an exciting project to enhance the interior design of our seven therapy office locations across the Bay Area. This internship offers an opportunity to work on a real-world project that blends design, branding, and functionality while helping create cohesive and welcoming spaces for our clients and therapists.

Position Overview

The intern will collaborate with our team to evaluate, redesign, and propose improvements for our office interiors. Each location was opened at different times and varies in style, and your task will be to bring a sense of cohesion while aligning the design with our branding. The goal is to create spaces that are comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing while maintaining cost efficiency.

The project must be completed within one month of the start date. A stipend of $2,000 will be provided upon successful completion of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to all seven office locations across the Bay Area to assess existing layouts, furniture, and overall design.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan to enhance the interiors, focusing on cohesion and alignment with our brand identity.
  • Recommend cost-effective furniture replacements, minor renovations, and design updates to improve the overall aesthetic and functionality of the spaces.
  • Create mood boards, floor plans, and a detailed proposal for each location, including specific product recommendations.
  • Collaborate with our team to refine ideas and ensure practicality and budget considerations are met.

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and branding in interior design.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage travel to various office locations within the Bay Area.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a practical approach to creating cost-effective design solutions.
