ABOUT THE COMPANY & JOB

YouRise Health is dedicated to improving human health and performance, and has two divisions: venture capital, and media house. In this role, you'll have access to both.

As a member of the team at YouRise Health, you'll have the job all your friends wish they could have: video assistant for social media It's a fun and challenging role; you'll showcase your skills in using your phone to make videos and then post them. 

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, student currently pursuing a degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of experience (either outside of or during school) in posting videos on social media, public relations, media relations, or communications.
• Ability to demonstrate the social media presence you've built either for yourself or for others.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the use of social media to build audiences and in the development of video content.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the right audiences.

Responsibilities

• Post, manage, and grow social media content across multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter (X).
• Develop productive relationships with journalists, social influencers, key partners and influencers in tech, consumer, business, and mainstream media.
• Develop written materials including messaging guidelines, press releases, blog posts, presentations, speeches, and social media assets.
• Represent YouRise as a company spokesperson.
• Train and provide guidance to company officials for press activities, and help manage a PR presence to support day-to-day inquiries, special projects, and events.
