Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Project Assistant with AI and Technology focus to join our project team for Spring 2025. In this role, you will support various digital projects, including website creation, content development, and the exploration and integration of genAI technologies. You will also assist in developing materials for an online AI literacy course, utilizing video and editing software to create and help build engaging teaching materials. We’re looking for a self-motivated candidate with strong organizational and writing skills who is comfortable with working independently and adapting to new genAI tech.
This position is from the date of hire until May 30, with potential for funding over the summer months.
While most of the work is remote, some part of the work might necessitate on-campus presence.
Responsibilities
Website Creation and Content Management:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of a website
Create, edit, and manage digital content
Online AI Literacy Course Development:
Collaborate in the development of course materials and content
Assist with structuring and organizing course modules and lessons
Video and Editing Software Utilization:
Test and use video editing software to create high-quality teaching materials
Edit and produce video content for online courses and promotional materials
AI Technology Integration:
Explore and implement genAI tools and technologies to enhance course content and delivery.
Stay updated with the latest AI trends and incorporate relevant advancements into projects
Writing:
Provide writing support for various projects, including course content, website copy, and marketing materials
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in website development tools and content management systems
Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
Familiarity with genAI tools and technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Poe, Gemini, Co-Pilot, Grammarly Plus, DALL-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion)
Content Creation:
Strong writing and editing skills for creating engaging digital content.
Experience in developing educational materials, particularly for online courses.
Experience with IT applications such as Articulate 360 would be a plus
