Location: Remote/ Chicago Based

About the Role:

We’re seeking an ambitious undergraduate intern, ideally a sophomore or junior, with a strong interest in sustainability and the energy transition. As a Sustainability Analyst Intern, you will write thought-provoking long- and short-form content that delves into the complexities of the energy transition. You will work closely with our Sustainability Analyst and Vice President of Operations, contributing to research, analysis, and content creation that advances Innovo’s mission.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Content Development:

  • Write compelling and insightful content, including blog posts, articles, and whitepapers, to educate and engage audiences on topics related to the energy transition.
  • Create concise, impactful updates for Innovo’s LinkedIn page and other social media platforms.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analyze trends in renewable energy and environmental commodities.
  • Assist the Sustainability Analyst in generating insights and data-driven content that supports Innovo’s thought leadership.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work alongside the Vice President of Operations on key initiatives and projects.
  • Provide support for ad hoc sustainability-related tasks as needed.

Additional Skills We’d Love to See:

  • Proficiency in marketing and design, with experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and platforms such as LinkedIn.
