Job Description:
As an Interior Design Intern, you will work closely with our design team to assist in various stages of the design process, from conceptualization to final implementation. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, and provides exposure to real-world design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for clients
- Support the design team
- Create 2D/3D design layouts and floor plans using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.)
- Help with site visits and project installations
- Organize and maintain design samples, materials, and project files
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong understanding of design principles and trends
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A portfolio showcasing your design work (if applicable)
