Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camps are all about creating unforgettable summers for kids while fostering their independence, decision-making, and social skills. Located in beautiful Southwest Michigan, we offer nearly 60 activities that give campers endless opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun.
What You’ll Do:
As a Physical Education Intern, you’ll wear two hats:
- Camp Mentor: Live alongside and support kids aged 6-15, helping them grow into their best selves.
- Activity Instructor: Lead sports, games, and physical activities that bring out the best in campers of all skill levels.
This isn’t your typical internship—you’ll spend your summer outside, gaining hands-on experience, and working alongside amazing people who are just as passionate as you are.

If you’ve completed at least one year of college in a related field (like physical education, recreation, sports management, or education) and love working with kids, we want to hear from you! Experience working with children in any setting is a big plus, but what really matters is your enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to dive into this experience headfirst.
