Junior Designer/Architectural Staff

Sloan Architects PC in Millbrook, NY is Seeking an eager-to-learn and passionate candidate(s) to join the team and work with Principals and design team in assisting all phases of projects and administrative tasks. Must enjoy working in highly creative environment, diligence and attentive to details. Office projects are diverse in type, scale and style. They range from high profile historic preservation/ renovation projects such as performing arts and cultural center, high end residential, to institutional higher education and light commercial. Principals guided AXP experience, mentorship focused.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (BArch or above) in accredited institution
  • 0-3 years of proven experience and knowledge in production (schematic to construction documents) and coordination of projects with codes and consultants; however, will train recent Grad who is motivated and can follow directives well
  • Highly Proficient with AUTOCAD; SketchUp, Lumion is a plus
  • Possess keen spatial understanding, attention to details
  • Strong organizational, and communication skills
  • A team Player with positive attitude
