Job Title: Graduate Student Research Worker / Intern
Hiring Hourly Rate: $20-$22/hour based on research experience
Full-time/Part-time: Part-time
If part-time, #hours per week: 4 to 6 hours per week
Proposed Start Date: 02/01/2025
Estimated Duration of Appointment: 12 months
Description of Work:
- This individual will be part of research studies funded by NIH and PCORI and led by Dr. Mónica Pérez Jolles, PhD. Assistant Professor, ACCORDS, Anschutz SOM, University of Colorado, Denver.
- Work closely with the project manager to accomplish project tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist with research partner engagement and preparation of meetings. Partners include patients, community leaders, healthcare providers, and researchers.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and reporting
- Assist with project operations and coordinate activities between the research team at the University of Colorado, National expert groups, Denver Health, and Community-Based Organizations
- Support to study activities such as documentation, reports and approvals, group meetings, and distribution of incentives to participants.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the areas of health sciences, public health, psychology, public policy, or related field. Previous experience in health services research is preferable.
- Research training in form of graduate courses and/or research experience as reflected in the resume.
- Work will be hybrid with some of the work performed in person in Denver, Colorado with occasional community meetings during off work hours (i.e., evenings).
Preferred skills:
- Fully Bilingual (oral and written) in Spanish.
- Experience working and coordinating diverse teams.
- Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks within set timelines and deadlines.
