Regulatory Affairs Specialist / QA Compliance Specialist

Position: Regulatory Affairs Specialist / QA Compliance Specialist 
Location: Columbus , OH
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Hours may fluctuate for international needs.)
Bill Rate: $40.00/hour

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. This role emphasizes administrative support and collaboration with quality experts to ensure regulatory compliance across global markets. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical writing skills, a thorough understanding of global regulations, and experience in food science, nutrition, or manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret regulatory documents to ensure compliance.
  • Understand and navigate regulatory processes across global regions (Latin America, Europe, Asia).
  • Analyze and document regulatory changes, including closing out required updates.
  • Collaborate with quality experts to address and mitigate risks.
  • Document the impacts of regulatory changes within quality systems.
  • Support the preparation of technical write-ups and related documentation.
  • Receive and manage publications relevant to regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in continuous improvement processes, including CAPA (corrective and preventive actions).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (preferably food science or nutrition). 
    • Open to recent graduates with relevant educational background.
  • Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global regulations (Latin America, Europe, Asia).
  • Familiarity with food nutrition, manufacturing processes, and regulatory or food policy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in CAPA or auditing is a plus.
  • Background in pharmaceuticals or regulatory assessment is advantageous.
