Teaching Artist Training Program Assistant
SUMMER TEACHING ASSISTANTS
The Alliance Theatre’s Education Department is seeking Teaching Trainees for our summer drama camps. Ideal candidates are current college students or recent college graduates looking for teaching artist experience. Camps run Monday - Friday from May 27th - August 1st. Due to holidays, we will not be having camp on May 26th, June 19th, or July 4th. Hours are dependent on which group you are working with, but will roughly be 8am - 4pm.

Compensation: $350/week
Program Responsibilities
- Assist teaching artists with stage management, directing, choreography, or musical directing.
- Supervise camper breaks such as lunch, snack, and restroom needs.
- Assist camp staff with carpool pick-up and drop-off
- Work closely with camp staff to assist with classroom needs (supplies, camper support, etc.)
- Monitor camp communication channels to maintain communication within the classroom
